I'm waiting for a new clutch and flywheel to be installed in my MCS @ MOP.
They said a 4-6 hour wait time :-\ I wish their Client Lounge was finished...but I must say the free wireless internet is a nice touch ....makes killing the time on my PB much easier

I don't know... Its part of them building the new customer lounge from what the finance guy told me
This is my fourth time here since I bought the car...2 months ago...and I live 2 hours away

So...back home I go...they will not fix the transmission until they get new bushings in for the shifter, they had mentioned the shifter problem to me last week when they diag-ed the tranny noise but apparently didnt look into it. Brian is currently trying to find me a rental to drive home and come back next week to pick up my MINI the bushings will be overnighted and installed for free because of the extra travel

Was there yesterday and also enjoyed using the wireless. The lounge sounds great! Told them that they needed to hook up a PS2 so we can race minis on GT4 while we wait!

I'm incredibly forgetful, but I was with one of our Mini2 members yesterday, but I forget both his name and handle here. He is an FPC Law professor who also went on that trip north. I need to get in touch with him ASAP. Anyone who knows, please PM me.

I heard that MOP is building a drag Mini using the turbo into blower set-up.

The bushings didnt come in on Friday so maybe Monday -cries- thats means i wont get it until wednesday...im suppost to be setting up a store in vermont on monday-tuesday...I MISS MY MINI!!!!

So what's the deal with this...they are building a lounge seperate from the showroom across the lot? Where exactly? What sort of amenities other than wireless internet?

Once again, MOP leads the way. Plus I know that the showroom gets a bit crowded sometimes with owners selling cars faster than MAs can leave their desks and owners diagnosing teensy problems before Gary, Heather, or Chris can get the key into that neat desktop gizmo The waiting area will be terrific. I understand Ian is having signs done up now........Ian's Place; The Spanner Pub; etc.
