Boston Area High Mileage service: dealer and non....

I seem to have takend "Lets Motor" to heart. Jester is fast approaching the magic 36k mark and is barely 2.

I am panicing about post warrenty service. I had always heard "dealers charge more".... but who else in the Greater Boston area can service a MINI???

Also beating a dead horse.

Chamber for service? Yeah or nea? I am very hesitant to use them for service since they were so foul for sales, to the point where I told BMW North America.... yep. Horrible.

I have been very happy with MoP BUT it's a haul! And let's face it, Peabody is a bit dull and taking a vacation day for service kind of, well, stinks.

(oops. Newbie error this is double posted...in USA)

MOP has an extended warranty that you can buy for around $400 to even service up tp parts which should give you another 14,000 miles....6-9 months? I bought it and had some shifting problems or lack of them last winter and all was covered. Sometime this summer at 2 1/2 years I will reach 50,000 too many events I guess....

Sorry no real solution, but many of us who bought early are in the same predicament...

if you're in the worcester area, you can come to my shop......if not, just as any other car, find a local garage you trust and have your service done there. minis aren't hard to work on at all.

Where in Worcester is your shop? I know you have posted it before but I don't remember where. This will be handy if I need something easy done and I don't want to go to Peabody.
