Drive home from MOT safely please

Just took my sweet little ole slowest NEMINI driver time, hanging out in cruise control at the speed limit. Saw plenty of state police in VT just waiting for someone. Same with MA, but they were cruising. Unfortunately, in CT there were were plenty of idiots out at 2am. I was between Windsor Locks and Hartford on I91, thinking that it was about time to quit cruise control because I wanted better reaction time when at least 4 cars blew past me (I was hanging in the middle lane) on either side, some musta been going 90, switching lanes back and forth and all that ****. This time my "hope I don't find them splattered on the road" that I always say to myself when I see that ... well ... cars and parts of cars and one in flames (never seen that before ) smashed against the overpass abutment. Couldn't tell, but it looked like at least 5 cars smashed really bad all over the highway. I stopped (had to), put my hazards on and called 911. After they told me they already knew about it (lots of folks running all over the road), I joined traffic crossing the ditch to the diamond lane to get around everything.

Even after all that, folks were still driving like idiots and on I84 saw a car off the road, though it must have come from the street next to the freeway. Lots of folks that scared the crap outa me. Now I'm home and have been up for almost 24 hours yet the adrenalin is making me shaky and sick feeling.

Folks, please drive safely home.

Glad you made it home. I got real lucky, I had a moose cross infront of me on Bear Notch, heading home Saturday night around 9:30pm. He was huge, and just walked slow as can be out of the woods on one side, crossed and then entered the woods on the other side. Scared the crap out of me, needless to say I was on edge until I got to 93 South.

Made it home before Midnight, had a few beers and then called it a night.
