New films start on Friday but are not booked until the previous Monday. So, the films shown on the 20th will be known on the 15th.
If we don't like the selection, there's the Wilton Town Hall Theatre ($5 per person; real butter ladled onto the popcorn when it's served) with comfortable seats that have lots of leg room. Just can't fit 20 MINIs into the hall . . .
it would completely defeat the purpose of a bunch of Minis showing up, just to go "inside" and sit in a theater...
PLEASE DO NOT POST WHAT WILL BE PLAYING, I , PERSONALLY WOULD LIEK FOR IT TO BE A SURPRISE, IF YOU WANT TO GO TAKE A PEEKSY WEEKSY, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO GO, JUST DON'T POST-IT...
I'm serious, some of us would like for it to be a surprise.. there will be swift and harsh penalties for any violations of this...
Is it OK if I peek? I'm 400 miles away. I promise not to tell. But if it's any indication, the Finger Lakes Drive In near me, where I may steal your idea and gather some Minis the night of August 20 during my Finger Lakes run, is showing 'Dukes of Hazzard' and 'The Bad News Bears' this week. No telling what next week will be, but I think that sounds like an all-star summer line up! Except for maybe 'Son of Flubber' (with Ed MacMurray), which was one of the first movies I ever saw in a drive-in.
The Milford Drive-in has recently had to change their rules regarding pets... no pets are allowed in the theater, evidently they had some issues last year and their insurance underwriters have required them to now enforce this rule... this was updated on their site as of 7/28/05
