Today I was heading up Rte. 3 in Nashua at ~8:20AM to drop my son off at camp on Lake Winnie....in the minivan .
Big radar trap northbound w/ several motorcycle mounties. On the southbound side I saw the same sand colored Chevy Malibu that I saw last weekend on the way home from MoT (had someone pulled over).
Today he's standing in the left shoulder, car door open, and holding the radar gun....ready to dash in and take off.
Seems like a lot of activity for this area....this was between Exits 2 & 3....
Typical for them, this happens once a Month or so. I used to see it all the time when I worked Saturday afternoons. They woud line up 3-6 cars on the side of the road and ticket them all. I know there are several "Sand" colored Impalas on RT3. I used to see them all the time when I worked nights. He would hide on the southbound lanes under a bridge after exit 1 (off the road a good ways, almost into the woods). Once you crested the hill it was too late, either laser or radar. Going north they would be under the bridge right after exit 2, and on the left hand side, so you couldn't spot them until again your right on them. Between exits 1 and 3 both North and South is a bad spot because both the NH mounties and Nashua police setup road blocks there. Oh and don't forget now that the weather is good, to look under the bridge embankments at exit 6 for crown vic parked there that belongs to the Nashua PD. I used to hate driving RT3 for this reason, if I could and had the time I would blow down 93 instead, when I used to live in Manchester.
Now with that said, be careful, and always make sure you got a car or two going faster than you.
