Santa Cruz Mountains Run 03/03/07 - MINI2

Please join REME members on this beautiful 128 mile run through the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The run begins in Los Altos, depating at 9:30am.

Starbucks
296 Main St.
Los Altos, CA

We will stop at Gazos Creek State Beach for 30 minutes at about noon and will end for a late lunch at Alice’s Restaurant at 2:00pm. Because we will be eating late, bring a snack and drinks for the road. Bring your camera and 2-way radios set at 7-21.

It looks like it going to be beautiful weather. After 2 weeks of miserable cold weather in CA, the temperatures are estimated to be in the high 60's to low 70's, and suuny! It's shorts and sunglass weather!

As of today, we are expecting around 25-30 cars, including at least 3 or 4 classics. This should be a fun run ending up at one of the most popular restaurants in te area.

Wow! What a great weekend. I believe we had somewhere between 30-36 cars. It seemed like they kept coming and joining us enroute.

The weather was beautiful, the roads were clear from recent storm debris, and the run was on some of the best roads south of the Golden Gate.Photos will be posted on the REME MegaBBS shortly and a movie/slide show produced by Rob Saunders can be seen now.
