Offline | Thank-you to all the great MINI motorers who made the Mt Hamilton drive such a memorable event - especially minirossa and cr mini for the organisation and great T's respectively. I had a great time and the wife and kids did too - it was the longest drive we had all done in the MCS together and my 5 - and three year old are asking when we're going for another "race"! To make the drive more memorable, I clocked over 13 000 miles as we got onto the 680 north! Thanks again guys - lets do it again soon! Dark Silver S,White roof, Sunroof, Sport and Premium, #80 |

Offline | Hey, gang, I did the ride again from Livermore to the Junction, but instead of heading up to the observatory, went east out to Patterson. It, too, was a really nice ride, but kind of different. The road was kind of windy, but not twisty, which meant that there was more of an opportunity to carry speed in the not-quite-so-severe turns. I'd definitely recommend it. Of course, it ends up in Patterson on I-5, which doesn't have the views that the top of Mt. Hamilton had, but it was still a nice drive.
