March/April Lake Tahoe Run

Trying to keep us all organized, moving the tahoe stuff seperate from the Feb 22nd run.

Good idea. Just to set this up for folks who may not have seen this discussion on the 2/22 thread the suggestion has been made that that we do a run around (or in the area of) Lake Tahoe in late March or April. For most of you down in the Bay Area this would obviously be a more time consuming event than our past runs so it has also been suggested that people might want to stay overnight. I guess what we need to know is how many people are seriously interested in a Tahoe run, would they want to spend the night and what date would be best? Even if you've answered about this on the other thread I'd appreciate it if you responded on this one if you are interested just to make life easier in terms of gauging interest.

I will be in South Lake from March 22-30. I will then be up there possibly the first fallowing weekend in April. I know the Tahoe area pretty well so if I can help let me know.

This sounds like a great drive BUT, I'll be in New Orleans
March 27th-31st.

If you guys can do it in early April I'll make every effort to be there.

I'm interested in a Bay Area to Tahoe run. I would stay the night in Tahoe.

Any weekend in April except the 19th which is Easter weekend.

Right now it's April 5/6 for me, but I'll have to juggle around a San Diego trip on April 25/26 (or pre-empt that date for the Tahoe Run)

Don't forget we'll have a April 12 FUN(D) drive to kickoff the proposed new MINI club. I'm working on details.

April 5-6 would probably work for me. We seem to be running about 5 people here. Anyone else interested?

April 5-6 works for me right now. I might have to cancel when I find out when my daughter's softball season begins. The schedule comes out in a few weeks, I should know then.

It's a pity as it would've been great to meet up some stateside MINI2er's.
I guess there's always 2004

Yeah, we don't seem to have summoned up a lot of interest. Maybe those of you going to next weekend's drive can see if you drum up some business.

I like the idea, but I think there should be 2-3 weeks separation between the drives. So March 29th (or earlier), or April 26th (or later).

For both weather and organizing reasons pre-3/29 seems a bit early to me.
