OK I might as well get a separate thread for this drive on Saturday, April 12 (route not decided at this time, but most likely SF to Pt Reyes National seashore) since we have mentioned it in a couple of other threads.

The purpose of this drive is to get an interim Steering Committee formed to get the club's Constitution and Bylaws tied down and become incorporated.

We also need to get some seed money to pay for initial expenses (postage, supplies, etc). I hope to arrange for a BBQ at the luncheon stop. We need maximum participation for this drive, so consider it the most important one of the year for MINIs.

Please set aside April 12 on your calendar for this event.

I'm not sure how much you will need to get started. However, I willing to kick in $50.00 or so. If we can get at least 10 or 20 more of us, we should be in good shape.

I'll look forward to April 12th.

I wish I could join y'all but that weekend I'm doing my own one-MINI drive up to Eugene to show my parents my 'new' MINI. ( Now we'll see just how comfortable those sport seats are after 10hrs.... )
