My buddy asked me to post this 3/23 Nor Cal meet that's upcoming.

Actually, this was primarily an E46 Fanatics meet and cruise through the bay area. For those who aren't familiar with E46, it's primarily a BMW social gathering; however, I am told that they are very open and welcome just about any cars... well, as long as they're European and preferably German.

I seem to be the only MINI in this 3/23 Nor cal meet, but the responses I have gotten about my participation have been warm and open. I think they really want to check out the new MINI's and their automotive cousins. So, if you want to help spread the happiness of MINI, please don't hesitate to show up this Sunday.

This is primarily a bay area event, but whoever would like to just meet up with a bunch of German car enthusiasts and hopefully some other MINI's (or at the time of this posting, another MINI), you're invited to show up, hang out, and do the cruise.

It will start at 11:00am at Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco. The exact location of the gathering, I'm not sure. But, last I heard it will probably be in the back where the theater parking lot is because it's less obvious we're a gathering group and possibly considered loitering.

Anyways, it will start there and end up going through winding Marin roads through the hills and should end up on a nice beach to stop and rest.. and possibly take photos, if desired. There will also be a place for us to all meet up and eat inbetween.

Hope some of you Northern Cali and Bay Area MINI enthusiasts will be interested and do this thing.

You might have trouble finding takers on this one. There is a MINI run to Bodega Bay scheduled for the same day. See the thread: "March Bodega Bay Run".

Looks like we do have a MINI run set-up the same day.
But don't let that stop us for the future Wing0949 & davesaristo.
Many of us will be happy to go on rides, so please keep us informed.

Okay, no problem. I did have plans to hang with my friend and check out that particular meet I had helped post on this site.

I was and should have checked this forum's regional meet postings first and earlier.. to tell you the truth, I'd feel a little better hanging out and getting to know other fellow mini owners and enthusiasts.

Oh, well... I 'm sure there will be plenty more meets in Nor Cal in the near future and for many more months to come.

I'll try and stay posted for future MINI events. I will probably post future E46 meets, as well. Perhaps, sometime in the future, both parties could get together or cross over in events to check out what the other has to offer for a change.. maybe travel on the roads less traveled.
