Offline | All awards are people choice, we will have one for Cooper and one for Cooper S. If you think you can't win, a few years ago, a young lady came in second simply being charming and asking for the vote. It was nearly an upset for another car that was clearly better prepared and with the split vote, I actually came in a close third. Hope to see you all there, Keep in mind it is also a swap meet, so if you have parts you have already ditched for other upgrades, you may find somebody here who is looking for it. Typically what we do is lay the parts out behind our cars on a towel or blanket while we sit around shooting the shi...breeze. For those interested in trying some traditional UK food, the Ministry of Food will be there with Bangers and Mash. Hope to see you there. Chris |

Offline | The Show starts at 8:00 am with judging at 11:00 am. Most people seem to show up around 10:00 am. If you pre-register with the flyer that came in the club newsletter (sent free to fifteen of so who requested them, there is still time to request one, just send me a message), cost is only $15 until June 10th. At the entrance booth on the day of the show it will cost $20 Last year we had two MINIs, this year with the club members MINIs and the ones from this board we should have a row or two. This is a great show overlooking the bay, see pic http://www.hypersprite.com/auto/pict...g/p1010056.jpg Also if Mini Mania can swing it, they we going to try to bring stuff out. Hope this helps. | MINI2 Regular | I am going to try and be there between 9 and 9:30. Larry same arrangement as usual? You've got the coals and the cold ones? I'm going to bring my MINI Webber, only seems appropriate. If enough people look like they are going to show, I'll see if I can get one of those big black half-a-cows from my brother again. |

Offline | Since MOASF is the hosting party and they decided long ago that the new MINI was a Mini just the same, all Minis/MINIs are welcome. This is not Pebble Beach thank goodness.Chris |
