Ok, so maybe this should be in the TV thread, but has anyone noticed that MINI is running commercials during Giants games now? I hadn't seen these ads until now. I love the one filmed in San Francisco. Glad to see my favorite car contributing to the finances of my favorite baseball team!

Not a baseball fan myself... but I did notice the commercial with the yellow Mini wheeling thru SF when I was watching the American Idol finale tonight. It's actually the first time I've seen a Mini commerical on TV!!!

So I'm at work tonight at Raley Field and I walk down into the stands and there up on the big screen is the MINI commercial with the cat and the dog. MINI really seems to aiming their marketing at baseball at the moment.

We have noticed these ads too! Have also seen a few MINI ads
during previews before movies.

Maybe we should try to do a meet before a Giants game?!!
Perhaps buy a block of tickets and do some tailgating before
the game?

What do you think about this idea?

I've thought about doing a group trip to a Giants game also, how many people are up for this?

If we could get enough people together for a game we could do a group ticket purchase, it would take minimum 25 people. I'm sure we could round up 13 pairs of people that would go to a ball game.

A block of tickets is not that hard to do if people
are willing to sit in the bleachers. My wife bought a block of 25 in the bleachers for a Tuesday night game in July.

Tricky part would be be booking a day game if we wanted to tailgate. Perhaps we could do a night game and meet for dinner or drinks before the game?

Any other ideas folks?

I'll ask the boss(aka my wife)to check into a block of tickets.

I'm going to call tomorrow and see what the group tickets look like. They are availible in the bleachers, view reserved, and lower box. I'll post what days are going to be easiest, and I will try and get a few day game dates and night dates.

July 7th 7:15 against the Cardinals we can get 38 lower box seats, $30 each. What do you guys think? I have a hold on the seats right now, but I need to get back to the lady in a couple days.

I have checked with the social director (wife) and we are availble. Getting to San Fran from the East side will be a challenge that early but, we will make it.
So count us in Phil for 2 tickets, pay you at the Haywood deal on June 15th

I should have mentioned this before, the seats are in section 128 premium lower box, the lady told me that they are the best seats availible for group purchase. I think I've sat in that area before, decent for foul balls, and like every seat in PacBell Park, great view.
