I'm planning on getting one. Even though my MC won't be arriving until end of Aug--July 18 completion date, I've been buying parts for it!

Blue Cooper

I talked to eastbay mini today. They had not seen one yet but did take the time to find out about them from MINI while I was there. The total he gave me was 80.25 before our 10% off. So with taxes a little less than $80. I went ahead and ordered mine. He said he can have them in 3 to 4 days from order.

So even we have 5, 6 people order, it will be the same price? If so, I will order mine then

Cool

Yup 10% is what we get. I asked about getting 12 to 15 ordered and 10% is the discount. I also thanked him for the raffle prizes and got a offer of more stuff for the August run. P.S. We want to get together for an install party ?

Thanks Moorlokx for your post! That sounds like a pretty good deal. I wonder though if we should go ahead and order through East Bay MINI because they've been so good to sponser us so far. Their price isn't much more and I think this would show them that we are here to support them for supporting us. Just a thought... What do you all think?

I agree with dldds, we would love to buy stuff from Classic Mini (After market parts), but for deal parts, I think we shoudl go to East bay MINI.

Larry ordered mine, Thanks Larry . Can't wait to install that.

The difference in price is not quite $4 ... less than the price of a pint of beer at my favorite watering hole. Forgo that one pint and support your sponsor

Not to be a stick in the mud, but I emailed the guys at classic mini this morning before reading this, to see if we could get a group deal, if you guys are interested in waiting I should know sometime tomorrow. They say most of their parts go from 20% over cost to 20% off of retail and they are all OEM parts, so just another option.

Exclamation

HEY DINLO I added yours to my order . Ours will be here on thursday . 72.23 + 5.96 tax = 78.19 I saw your message about one for Danny after I got to work he can call and order it over the phone and it will be here before the weekend . I also talked to the sales dept and the works car was gone . I mentioned Mini Mania and there setup and was told that cars with THE PULLEY UPGRADE were coming in with catastrophic failures when the weathers in the 100s . I just wanted to pass that on you might want to check it out.

Hope I didn't step on any toes with the Classic MINI referral. Thought you might want to know about a lesser price.

Classic does help sponser MCO...that's almost the same thing. isn't it?

No problem. East bay mini is the only dealer thats donated to norcal minis all the other dealers here charge a 2k markup and wont donate a thing to help the club. So no markup, they donate, we give them some back. Thanks for the info anyway. Larry

I agree with Larry on the not biting the hand that feeds you, but it doesn't hurt to have more than one option for getting your parts.

Thanks moorlockx for your info, I would love to order stuff from Classic MINI in the future, but I just won a shirt that was donated by Eastbay MINI on Sat. So I think I should return something to the dealer

We would love to know that we have other options, so please keep up the good work and let us know where we can get some good stuff at lower price
