I heard someone like to have a 2 days event for the Aug run in Lake Tahoe area. The date is about Aug 16-17, or Aug 22-23.

Do you guys like this idea? We should start to plan the Aug run now.

Dinlo, sorry I can't make the Aug 16-17 run as I'm going to a wedding.

By the way, I read your post in the HK section about your Alta intake and pulley. How is it working for you?

either weekend is fine with me, just need to set the dates asap, so that herman can plan to be up here for this meet. afterall, what's a 2 day trip without my trusty navigator/boyfriend. i've been flying single with you boys long enough.

I'll be going to Lake Tahoe Aug 30 - Sep 1 (Labor day weekend). fyi, John Ascuaga has a Rib cook-off coinciding with the weekend (for you meat eaters).

It's nice, I got 175hp at the dyno. I can totally tell the different. Randy did a perfect job.

In August I am trying to get up to Tahoe on the last weekend of Hot August Nights, 9-11. I don't think that I can make it for any of the other dates that people are throwing around, but I should know in the next couple days for sure what my plans are.

I got 175WHP, so I should get almost 200hp from the engine

It seem both weekends work for everybody, but 22-23 seem a little better, how about we set the date on AUG 22-23, Location: Lake Tahoe.

But where can we stay? I heard someone offered us a place to stay, if not, we need to know how many people are going, then we can get a group rate on motel/hotel.

Someone also need to come up a route to there, and a fun road to drive. please let us know any ideas you have, so we can start to plan now. Thanks

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I forgot I need to go to a house boat trip from Aug 21 to Aug 24.......

Oh nooooooooooooooo!!!! I don't want to miss the 2 days event!!!

Am I too selfish to change the date to Aug 16-17? If you guys think Aug 23-24 is better, I'm more than happy to help to set it up for the club

Either weekend works fine for me - I drove Hwy 50 at about 11pm on my way to Vegas last week (I know, it seems the wrong way - but I wanted to spend the next day driving down the Eastern side of the Sierra's) I can suggest a South lake Tahoe route that will take us over Monitor and Ebbbetts (sp?) Passes - Just Awesome on a weekday - twisty, smooth roads and no cars. A weekend run might be worse for traffic. I really enjoyed the whole way to Mono Lake but going as far as Markleeville will also make a good run.

Dinlo - houseboat vs Mini run, mmmm, tough call! I vote we change the date to Aug 29-30, that seems to have no conflicts.

BTW - the pulley is AWESOME!!!

Actually I was thinking Aug 29-Sep 1. It's long weekend

but I think most of the people rather go out with their family, so I choose Aug 16-17, Aug 23-24
