I know this is VERY short notice, but we are going to have our first movie night this coming Saturday night (November 1st). We are giving this type of event a trial run to see if people like the idea and if it actually works very well. We will be showing the new Italian Job as well as other miselanious MINI related footage taken by members. It will be at 6:00-6:15pm and run until around 10pm. We ask that you bring $5 per person for pizza, drinks and dessert. As always if you want to bring something to share with the group, feel free!

Once the website is up more details will be availible, if it isn't back by Thursday, check back here for more information.

Hi NorCal group,

Just sussed out how to join the forum following the link from the homepage. Intros I guess- Michael and I are new members of the NorCal MINI's and we haven't had the time yet to meet up for any of events yet, sad but true. Sorta/Kinda yelled a "hello!" out my window to Dennis and co. as I was driving by in our MINI on the 11th when the group was in front of Kapps on Castro St. in Mt. View where we live (I should live at Kapps I'm there so often) and we just happened to be coming home from a daytrip to Placerville, but that hardly counts as a proper meeting.

Hope we can at least drop by on Saturday night to say hello and to introduce ourselves. I have been dying to see the Italian Job. Depends on how well/late we go tonight at a Halloween party. Hope everyone has a safe and fun time tonight.

I assume that one of you has the DVD version of the original Italian Job, but if not, I'll bring the VHS copy I have if anyone is interested in a double feature. It's 99 min. long.
