Recommendations for MINI workshop?

Hi guys! I'm looking for a reputable shop in the Berkeley, east bay area that has experience dealing with the new MINIs. I'd like to put some shocks and springs onto my MCS, and am in the dark as to which shops in the area would do good work, and that I could take my car to them if anything messes up. I've got a reference for a place in Santa Rosa, but it's a bit too far at the moment.

Thanks!

Welcome CARETAKER

Have you join any one of the NorCal MINIs event yet? If not, you should check us out at www.norcalminis.com

As far as workshop, I know we has a member (Dave) who works on his MINIs and helped some of the club member before, but he is all the way in Stockton.

I also know a member who work with class mini and New MINI in Fremont. I can PM you with his contact number.

At south bay, schlick has mentioned a shop in San Jose before.

Anyway if you are going to the next NorCal MINIs event on Nov 22, 2003

I'm sure you will get more info from the other members

Hey there Caretaker, Perhaps I can help you with your dilemma. I can help you with just about anything you want to do to your MCS. I am about an hour or so from you but that's why you bought a MCS, to drive it. Anyway, feel free to call me and we can talk about it. I have lots of info about which springs do what as I have tried a few kinds. Call me, let's chat!
