Mini Drive Day 08/28/04

Hello, my name is Jerome, it's been 6 months I'm driving a Mini Cooper. I'm living in San Jose and on the 08/28/04 I'm planning to organize a "Mini Day Drive".

What's a "Mini Day Drive" ? Well it's a special day where mini owners can meet, drive, eat, have fun, exchange information about their cars.

This 1st Mini Day Drive will take place this Saturday (08/28/04).

1-We'll be starting at Starbucks (5180 A Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, California 95129 - Lawrence and Stevens Creek). It'll be nice to meet around 9-9.15am just to have a coffee together and introduce ourselves. We'll leave Starbucks and starts the engines at 10am.

2-We'll drive to Saratoga (9) until the summit road (35). We'll turn right and drive for a little while on the (35).

3-We'll stop for a wine testing at the Fogarty Winery (http://www.fogartywinery.com/). It's a small but very nice winery and their wines are really good. It will be a great place to take some pictures !!!

4-Afer the wine testing we'll continue our drive on the (35). We'll arrive at Sky Londa. We'll turn left and drive on the (84) direction San Gregorio beach.

5-We'll picnic right on the beach. I hope the weather will be nice and sunny on the beach. If I remember well there is a $5 charge to park the car on the beach parking lot.

6-After lunch will drive south on the (1) toward Santa Cruz.

7-We'll make our final stop in Capitola. By that time everybody will be thirsty so maybe we can all have together a last drink before to say goodbye.

Useful tips :
*If you have a two way radio, bring it with you, it'll be easier to communicate while driving.
*Don't forget $5 in cash to enter San Gregorio beach parking lot.
*Don't forget to bring some quarters if you want to come with us to Capitola.
