United-States NorCal Dealer Mark-ups

Hi ... I'm new to forum

Just gauging where new buyers of '05 MCS's are finding dealer mark-ups to be. It seems to be getting even more outrageous than info found on old threads.

$3,000 on S coupes; $2500 on S cabs.

$130 an hour on installation of all accessories.

What looked like a $30,000 car is now closer to a $40,000 car with the installation on the extra's I was looking to add (and I do understand the disclaimers on Mini's site about installation being 'extra', but really!!!)

I'd just like to know if everyone's in the same boat or not.

Thanks in advance,

Hayesboy

Bought Mine for msrp from Mini of Murray in Salt Lake City

and drove it home to Los Angeles a happy, happy, customer....

I paid the state taxes with what would have been the California Dealer Rip Off Tax ("premium" <- what crap is that)

Be man enough to call it what it is - California Dealers !!!

Highly recommend Mini of Murray - Give Debbie Linge a call.

I avoided the mark-ups by ordering out of state. I am dealing with Classic, and I highly recommend them.
