Does anyone know what the current waiting times are if ordering a Cooper S around San Franciso? ... I have a mate who's interested in finding out ... and I am ofcourse trying to sell him the idea!!

I'm guessing (just guessing mind you

) that a call to an area dealer would actually prove more fruitful......

If you want MSRP, it's still almost 10 to 11 months . . . Earlier this year, I heard that MINI of Concord had more like a 3-month list but with a $2,500 premium above msrp.

Me, I bought outta state. MINI of Murray in SLC, UT. I placed my order on Februray 28, and I will be getting my car w/in the next 3 weeks. The wait is almost over . . .

South Bay MINI (In Torrance, greater LA area) says an MCS ordered now will be a July build. Then add a month for shipping. Not too bad, and they sell at MSRP. Good folks!

I put my name on the waiting list at East Bay Mini on 7 December 2004 and just got a call today that I'm at the top of the list and they want to go over my build specifications. That's not too bad a wait.
