Please join REME and MOASF by attending the 2005 13th Annual Autumn Classic Car Show in beautiful and historic San Juan Bautista (only 30 minutes south of San Jose). Lets have a huge MINI-Mini showing! Refer to http://www.autumnclassic.100mregistry.com to register and for additional information.

This event has historically been for 1950's & 1960's classic British 2-seater sports cars only, but beginning last year, they invited both classic Minis and new MINIs. I talked to the organizer and he really would like to see a big Mini-MINI turnout. I attended last year and it was one of the most fun car events I have participated in.

Thank you to all REME members who attended the California Autumn Classic run and car show over the weekend. I think there were 10-12 MINIs represented on Saturday on the run. That evening 60 participants shared a wonderful Chinese 6 course meal in a local restaurant.

Sunday we had 9 MINIs and 1 classic Mini showing on the downtown streets of San Juan Bautista. As expected, the classic Mini took best of class, but Peg in her zebra striped Mini brought in a solid second place. Congratulations Peg!

We met a lot of nice people over the weekend and look forward to seeing them on future events.
