Offline | Son of QuattroFest driving event at PIR, Mar 4th 2006 Come out with other members of Audi Club Northwest for Son of QuattroFest 2006 on Saturday, March 4th. This is the Club's opening track event of the new year at Portland International Raceway. It is one exciting day for lapping. MINIs can run in this event. The PIR paddock area could be a good place for others in your party to gather to spectate the activities and talk cars if they won't be able to drive that day. There is ample parking and bleachers to watch the track and staging area. Access requires signing a Waiver but spectators are not charged a Fee. The driving event has a one day price of $145.00 includes lunch and plenty of track time. Instructor price is $50. Registration will be online using "http://www.MotorsportsReg.com", which is now open for your access. All event driver attendees must be ACNA/ACNW members. You may purchase membership at time of registration or go to "http://www.audiclubna.org/about/join.html" to join separately. This event does not have a Driver's Education exercises component. It is for drivers who have attended at least one ACNW event or equivalent from another club or driver's school. Instructors will be available to help Novice drivers and others who want to advance their skills. One of the objectives of this event is to practice and refine your driving experience in the excellent wet learning conditions still expected in March. Courtyard Portland North Harbor Marriot will be our host hotel. We will reserve blocks of rooms at a discount. Please indicate you are with the Audi Club. Reservations can be made direct at 503-735-1818 or on-line at " http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage/PDXNH" Contact Rainer Elias, rmelias63@comcast.net, in his role as Event Master with questions regarding the event, or John Ewald, ewaldc@comcast.net, a MINI owner, for any questions or comment.
