Offline | Pacific NW and British Columbia motoring adventure? I wanted to start a thread to see if there is any interest from MINI owners in the Pacific Northwest and Canada in creating a multi-day motoring adventure in our little corner of the world. Of course all are invited, no matter where you're from, but the trip would be in the NW and British Columbia. Anybody interested? |

Offline | West Coast That would be a great idea. I live in Cloverdale (just outside Vancouver, B.C.) and I know there a few of folks in the neighbourhood who should be interested. Count me in..... Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.....That way if you **** him off, you will be a mile away and he will have no shoes.... |

Offline | I am planning on going to the Rally in the Valley. I probably won't be able to hook up with this tour, but I'll be at the events in Penticton. http://www.mini2.com/forum/social-re...penticton.html |

Offline | Since we're in So. Cal, we probably won't be part of your run, but I can highly recommend it to anyone closer to the area. We had the most beautiful vacation some years back, traveling the "sunshine coast". Hopping the ferries all the way from Vancouver, BC to Powell River over to Vancouver Island. Stayed at Painter's Lodge in Campbell River, watched the cruise ships come up the inside passage, toured the NE coast of Vancouver Island and back across the ferry to to Port Townsend, WA. It was by far one of the most memorable vacations we'd ever took. Sounds like you could put together an awesome run in your area, have a great time! Offline | Let's try to keep this thread up and get more people involved. We should start thinking of routes that we would like to motor on, and start getting ideas of where and when to go. |

Offline | Keep me informed as well. I'm game for it to be sure. I live in the Seattle area and would definitely love to do it if you can get it put together. Perhaps something up the coastline like from Vancouver B.C. to Seaside, Oregon or something like that. The drive along the coast is beautiful and full of fantastic turns. My wife and I took the trip last year down to Seaside and really enjoyed the bendy roads with our Cooper. |

Offline | In a similar vein to events in a couple of other states, how about a run up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains? I'll be making a run up there when I visit my father in Sequim, in late June, early July. |

Offline | Hey Guys & Gals, I think what we're lacking here is concrete dates and routes. First off, let's set a weekend date, sometime in June/July, perhaps? I'm thowing July 15th-16th on the table. If you disagree, then throw out another date. Remember, the later it is, the more likely we'll be able to get more people involved. Second, Let's define the Route, Start to End. Is this going to be A to B (i.e., Tacoma, WA to Lincoln City, OR) and back or more like a loop (i.e., Tacoma, WA, Lincoln City, OR, Portland, OR, and back to Tacoma, WA)? - Jeremy P. Seda - Bremerton, WA U.S.A. |

Offline | I would like a mid-late September date, as that seems to be the best weather in the NW. Route-wise, could be anything from Portland or Oregon coast to B.C. and back. What about starting in Oregon, up along Washington coast, over to Vancouver Island, then to Vancouver and/or Whistler? Let's get some input from everyone. Thanks! ![]() |
