MINI Cross Country Trip

Hey, how is everyone? I'm new on here but looking for some information. I'm about to graduate from Navy flight school at the end of April and get reassigned to Whidbey Island, Washington to continue my training. And to get there I'm going to be taking my MINI Cooper S from Florida across the southwest to California and then north to Washington. Just wondering if anyone knew of good sites, roads, MINI events that I should try to hit up on my way there. Hope to hear back from some of ya!

One thought if you want to hit one of the biggest Mini events is to detour from FL to NC/TN the first weekend in May to drive on Route 129, known as the Tail of the Dragon. More info here:
