 Uptown Car Show, Gig Harbor
On Saturday May 30, 2009, from 10am to 4pm, the Uptown Car Show will be held in Gig Harbor, WA to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for The Cure of Breast Cancer. There will be entertainment, live music (country, rock, oldies, blues, progressive, singers, DJ and more), food and plenty of showmanship from car lovers of the Pacific Northwest! Be there or be square! Enter your car to win cool prizes, like the “People’s Choice Award” and much, much more.
The Uptown Car Show Uptown Car Show to Benefit Susan G Komen for a Cure has over 100 cars currently registered, including the classic 1930 Model A, all the way to the 2008 Honda S2000! There is still room for more cars of all makes and models. Show your support for a worthy cause and have some great family fun! Show your car for only $20.00 (100% tax deductible)! All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for The Cure of Breast Cancer.
Spectators are FREE, bring the family, enjoy the ride to Gig Harbor. If you haven't been across the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge, you're sure to enjoy the drive. Website includes discounts for local hotels.

Staging cars begins at 8 am
Reasonably priced delicious food will be available from Sherm's BBQ in Issaquah. Breakfast available 8 am to 9:30 am, Ribs, pulled pork, salads and deserts will be available for lunch. 25% of the food proceeds go to the Susan G Komen Foundation.
