Sounds like FUN!!!

I'll try to make it. Don't forget to bring your FRS radios (lil walkie-talkies) if you have them, it makes drives a lot easier to coordinate. And if you have some traffic cones, bring them too!

Chuckanut Drive reopens tonight So that is the route. If something happens and it doesn't open there is an alternate route. See you there? Lynnwood 9:30

I was there but only had time for the rendezvous in the parking lot. what fun to see so many MINIs together, bet it was a blast to see the other drivers faces as so many MINIs went motoring by. Was cool to see some of the local tricked out ones too, the IB/B with stripes and yellow fogs was TOUGH! How was it, any pics?

BTW- my neighbors thought I was crazy , washing my MINI at 8:00am, he said , "you do know its going to rain, right"

For those of us not yet with out Minis can someone share some specifics? How many Minis? How was the drive? My wife and I picked the Mini in part because of the fellowship of the owners. She comes in April...I am looking forward to meeting some of you in-person for a first drive! Levenworth? North Cascades Highway? A trip to Orcus Island? How many Minis can we get on a state ferry?

Chuckanut Drive recap

About 25 MINI's gathered at the McDonalds in South Everett. Lots of people stopped by to ask questions and take pictures (the IB/B MCS with the yellow lights belongs to Bryan "911ETR" ) We had quite a chain of MINI's heading up I-5 to Arlington then we cut over to Hwy 9 for a little more scenic and twisty drive north. We picked up five members of the Vancouver New Mini Owners Club along Hwy for a total of 30 MINI's. Unfortunately we lost a few folks in Burlington as we cut back over to hook up with the south end of Chuckanut Drive. We had a great run up the very narrow and twisty Chuckanut Drive, what a great road. We all gathered in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham for a great lunch at Bob's Burgers (a tavern, not a hamburger stand) Two great sponsors gave out door prizes. MINI-Madness gave out a cold air intake and CooperFlags gave out a bonnett stripe kit.

After lunch we all went our seperate ways (including a few more "spirited" runs down Chuckanut Drive)

Can't wait for the next event. Who wants to plan it?

Thank you for the great summary of the Bellingham run! As a Western grad I can confirm Bob's is a great lunch spot! Although we don't take delivery until April it would be great to help plan a drive. Would anyone be interested in Whidbey Island / Deception Pass the second weekend in April?

Sounds good except...

I love Bellingham & Chuckanut but, I'm sorry, I would have to decline Bob's Burgers for the next run. My wife won't set foot in there again after a horrible service experience. Besides, Stanello's is a stone's throw away with a much better parking lot: It's visible from the dining room and bar!

MCS hits Port Hueneme tomorrow!
Was anyone else booked on the mv Tricolor?

Whidbey/Deception Pass is a great idea and fits right into the MG club's Tulip Rally on April 12th. The Rally starts in LaConner and tours around the area. It is a gimmick rally so no fancy equipment is required except a good set of eyes

(It sounds like at least a few Club MINI members will be attending the rally)
