Congratulations and Welcome
from Club MINI!

On behalf of your fellow MINI owners in the Pacific Northwest, welcome to the world of MINI Ownership. We’ve formed a loose knit social organization called Club MINI. We’d like to inform you of our activities and some resources you may find helpful.

For those with internet access, you may benefit from signing up for the Club MINI Yahoo Group. This informal MINI e-mail discussion group may be found at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ClubMINI/. You can subscribe by sending a message to ClubMINI-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. On this group you will find MINI owners discussing their vehicles and helpful tips and tricks.

We also meet once a month for a fun get-together through the MINI Meetup, found at http://minicooper.meetup.com/. It’s usually a great time to meet with 10 to 20 fellow MINI owners, line our cars up in the parking lot for a snapshot and enjoy a lunch together. We sometimes take the time to go on a fun drive together, such as the Tulip Festival in the spring or around Mt. Rainer in the fall.

There are also three prominent websites relating to MINI Coopers that you might find to be helpful. One of these is www.northamericanmotoring.com. Another is www.mini2.com, which has slightly more European content. And http://www.bridger.us/mini/ frequently has interesting content. It is important to remember that these websites contain content that is not controlled or endorsed by MINI or BMW. MINI Northwest remains your source for definitive answers about your vehicle. However, many of us have found these websites, particularly their discussion areas, to contain a wealth of very helpful information.

Congratulations again on your new MINI. We’re sure you’ll love your new toy as much as we all love ours. If you have any questions about your new car, you’ll find your fellow MINI owners are happy to help. We hope to see you soon at a Pacific Northwest MINI Cooper event, and we look forward to hearing from you online. And we also hope to see a flash of the headlights and a quick wave when you see us out motoring in our MINI’s!

Hiya neighbor. I live in Silver Firs, a stone's throw from you. Don't have my MC yet, on the list and waiting for my VIN assignment. I went to the meet up site but did not see a listing for the city of Mill Creek. Is the event listed under some other city?

HEY!

Welcome to the club. Actually, there is a Meetup in Seattle at 1:00pm on Saturday. I'm going by myself if you'd like to tag along. Also, my neighbor Rob also has a MINI. If you'd like to stop by (Rob only has Sunday's off), we'd be happy to give you a MINI fix.
