Offline | That's right folks, Tacoma, the most stressful city in the country! I live in Frankfurt, Germany right now with the Air Force, but will be leaving it all in May. I'm coming back to Tacoma with my wife (her home) and need to get to know the MINI community. So if you want to be my friend or even better, get me a job, let me know!!! OK, in all seriousness I can't wait to move there, and I'm really looking forward to becoming a part of the local MINI community. Anybody hiring??? |

Offline | Welcome back to the NW. Tacoma has gotten much nicer in the last few years. At least you will be close to the NW Mini dealer. But I think the largest number of Minis are up here in Seattle (1 classic clubman and one MCS on my block - and it looks like a new MINI in the neighborhood every week). Mine should be here about July. |

Offline | I hope your move goes well, at least better than mine. My husband is already in Seattle, and I'm staying in Jersey until I find a job. Tacoma has been cleaned up quite a bit, but you may want to consider Gig Harbor. Good luck. See you on the road soon! ![]() |

Offline | Wouldn't want to make the Narrows bridge commute myself. 2nd bridge is still a couple of years off. Tacoma is actually getting rather nice these days. If I worked places south, I'd consider living there. Even the commute to Seattle is not so bad with commute rail now in place. |
