R56 Cooper S Remap

Hi Guys

Noticed a few questions popping up about the mapping of the Turbo'd Cooper S.

P-Torque offer a Stage 1 ECU re-map for these models, offering 211bhp. This is not an ''an add on'' box, but a proper software upgrade of the stock ECU.

The P-Torque stage 1 re-map is 350.00 all in.

We will also offer a 230bhp - 240bhp kit, consisting of re-map and Forge uprated intercooler, which has 250% larger surface area than the stock intercooler. Pricing for this package is to be confirmed.

If you have any questions regarding these upgrades, feel free to e-mail me at info@p-torque.co.uk or call me on 01902 324584

Many Thanks
Will

I have some questions about the application... the basic details of the flash:

*Redline change?
*DSC/TSC/DBW mapping change?
*Sport button change?
*Overboost mode delete or change?
*Boost curve versus load, RPM, Sport button?

Any Dyno graphs? Before and after.

Also very interested in this remap.
Is the quoted 211bhp tested when using sport mode or just standard?

Hi There

No need! The mapping is well within the clutch and gearbox capabilities.

Ok,

I have decided to offer the mapping for 350.00 all in to Mini2 forum members.

Our map has been perfectly developed for not only increased BHP, but also a strong torque curve that is held throughout the rev-range (approx 235lbs/ft)

Hi Will,

With your stage one tune can you for see any issues with the forge BOV adaptor and the increase in boost? Issues with leaking boost?

Had the ECU remap done yesterday to my R56 Cooper S, the car is now a lot more responsive and a lot more fun to drive! Enjoyed my drive home even if through the snow! Will was very professional about the job and was worth every single penny! Is highly recommended! I think Benny No.1 was there also, wondering how you enjoyed your trip home after the remap?! Thanks again!!
