i`ve only had my cooper s for a few days and i`m very interested in this offer! Some of your rivals have similar packs (for more money mind) but they include a new idller pulley as they say it makes it more reliable. Would you suggest it should be done or will it be ok? And how lony will this offer be on for?

Thanks

Scott

Hello Scott

Haven't set a date to end this offer yet...

The idler pulley can be changed, but is certainly not a requirement for the package upgrade

I will hopefully be giving you a call next month about booking my car in for that package as it seems like great value. I have a alta V2 CAI on order so hopefully I will gain a bit extra than the 210... maybe?

17% or 15% pulley. Surely its a no brainer that you would pick the 17% pulley as it it produces more power or is it not as imple as that?

thanks again.

Scott

Really interested in the package you mentioned above for £445.00.

Just a few questions before I make a decision:

1) The 'uprated' plugs, are these iridium items or a 'performance' or colder temp range of plugs?
2) Out of the 15% or 17% pulley, which would you personally recommend, on the basis of bang for buck power and reliability?
3) Is the map a universal map or custom to the individual car, for example, if I had other modifications, such as an Alta V2 CAI, would the map take this into account or not?

Thanks for your reply in advance

Hi There!

The plugs we usually fit with this package are IK22 denso iridium.

We fit both pulleys, it really comes down to customer preference, we have done many track miles on 17% pulleys without issues. On higher mileage superchargers, you may want to stick to 15%

We custom map all R53's with pulley uprgrades

Hi Stu

The current package price is £495.00 all in, including smaller pulley, reduced belt, p-torque custom mapping and all fitting

You can choose between either a 15% or 17% pulley

Sorry, but I am new to the mini scene - I am told that this sort of package will get BHP to around 210 BHP, so what are the differences in performance etc from using the 15% pulley to the 17% one?

Will their be any issues as the car is a 2005 with around 45k miles on?

Cheers

Stu

Hi Stu

The 15% pulley tends to see 195 - 200hp. The 17% pulley will see approx 210hp.

Both of these upgrades are safe for your Mini. Our own R53 track car is running 17% pulley, and this is driven hard on the track.
