Offline | Thanks. I scnaned that from an 8x10 color print at 760 DPI and then cleaned it up in Photoshop. Of all Star Wars art featuring the X-Wing Fighter, that piece is by far my favorite. Thanks. The MINI is an awesome pallette for personal creativity and they just scream to be personalized to match their owner. Thanks. This overall design has been in my head since I saw my first new MINI in the United States in 2002. When my buddy, Larry bought his in late '02 and I rode in it, I knew it was my destiny. Offline | Hi Redwards, Thanks for the nice comment, but I have to tell you that the roof is a very large piece of vinyl that was printed with a scan of an 8x10 color image of a Ralph McQuarrie painting at 760 DPI and then I cleaned it up in Photoshop. I was pretty amazed, and very happy that it turned out as well as it did and that the resolution held up so well. MTFBWY, --Will ![]() |

Offline | That's how it begins. One simple addition and it grows from there. Before you know it, you'll come up with a graphic for the bonnet and maybe even the sides. And then something to hang from the rear view mirror too. Once you start down the dark path... MTFBWY, --Will |

Offline | The latest addition ![]() Yes, this is indeed an R2D2 cup. It is from the Taco Bell/KFC/Pizza the Hutt Star Wars Special Edition promotion in 1999. The dome and legs make up the one piece lid. There is a 15" straw for this cup that is inserted into a hole on the back of the dome. I don't use it to drink out of, 'cause I don't drink or eat in the car. It's for decoration and it goes into the overall theme. MTFBWY, --Will |
