| Countdown Queen! | Ideal Location for Photos of my MINI Not sure if this is the right place to post, but hope so!! I live in the south east of England (Surrey to be precise) and I am struggling to find good locations to take pics of my MINI!! I want somewhere which doesn't get my MINI too dirty just after it has been cleaned!! I would like some nice scenery (but don't want to detract from the main focus!! ). I also don't want lots of people nad cars in the background getting in the way, so this rules out tourist spots or nice places where people go at the weekend (probably as they haven't got a MINI to drive!! )Any suggestions people?? Thanks!! ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Locations Hi Vickie Personally, I look around those housing areas which have the larger, posh houses, for a nice road or street and use that. I took some shots of my previous vehicles in and around Kent etc with some nice hedgerows, clean/new road surfaces etc. The owners of these places often spend extra on nice brickwork/woodwork for their fencing etc which makes for a nice background. There are also some pretty smart office/retail parks around with high spec buildings (chrome/alloy/glass etc). These usually attract the "Top Gear" photographers so you could take inspiration from them?? Just some thoughts? I'll see if I can find some images to post for you.![]() BDL |

| Countdown Queen! | Wow thanks for the quick reply!! I especially like the idea of the smart office parks!! have some near me, so maybe i need to do a recce!!! Could then get all arty!!! Just feel that I have a few pics of my MINI but nothing that really shows it off!! Plus I haven't really taken any pictures of him, except for the few I took when I got him!! Thanks!! ![]() ![]() |

| Losing makes u stronger | me to?! i've been thinking about the same thing recently, the only photos i've got of my S are on the drive at home! not all that appealing. I live in derby, was thinking of going to Pride Park (Derby County's Ground) to take some snaps? Can't decide whether its looking a bit grubby now, may be that will make my car look better?! I'll be keeping my eye out for when they give the place a good scrub!! |
