Offline | Yesh They're pretty cool, but I have to make sure the tyres are shined up, otherwise they look black ![]() ![]() .......:::::* www.EastCoastMiniClub.co.uk *:::::....... The Original and BEST MINI Club in East Anglia - Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire & Norfolk! ![]() |

| Some have THICK skins!!!! | Nice looking MINI Can I just give you a hint for photo bucket which would have made it easier to see the pics ![]() If you click the little box by each pic you want to show then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "generate html and image code" it will give you everything you want in one hit. Then copy everything in the " " section and your pics will come up like this and saves all that cut and pasting ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Perfectionist Cooper S | Chilli21 Been looking at your pics as a fellow chilli red owner - just a quick question that i hope you can help me with I see you have a slightly slope & have to get over the pavement to get to your drive, i have the same problem but mines more steeply slopped than yours. What i want to ask is, do you have any problems with getting over that lip with the aero skirts as there slighly lower than standard skirts I hope you can help a fellow chilli Best wishes Perfectionist cooper s |

Offline | Hello, thankfully getting her on to the driveway is OK, lower her by a 1cm or so and she would ground her skirts i am sure. I never risk having another person in the car with me when going over the drive as i am sure she would ground. As mine is a ONE and has standard normal suspension she will ride abit higher than your S. I do have problems though when putting her i the garage the bottom front bumper weared away leaving a hole! which i have now had repaired and now i go up on a plank of wood to get in the drive. Hopefully we will be moving soon to a flat drive! which will make it easier to clean her as well![]() Post some pics of your S ! |

| Perfectionist Cooper S | Pics of My S There already on this thread on another page but will upload again to save me looking through each page to find her Let me know what you think I can add some better on of the drive on thurs if i remember!!! as i work shifts & see what you think as a fellow aero chilli skirt owner I realise i will struggle with two people so i woudn't do it - I already have the front bumper as i damged the standard one when a deer decided to bounce & kill itself off my old bumper & replaced with aero. I can get on ok with two people BUT not off - its strange my standard one semmed to scrape more than the aero The skirts at the moment are a 'hairs breath' of the ground with 2 but the aero will cercetanly been v.nearlly touching or grounding but having said that my brother tried a bmw m3 with simular if not the same style skirts on the drive & they were fine with 1 but didnt try with 2 as his not his car but a friends. I will have to get it on the drive as can't leave out on the road & wouldn't be happy as its my pride & joy I have looked at a couple of cooper's & there seems to be the black on the underside of the skirts so that should be ok??? but not closely at any Cooper S's Do you know of any one with an S with a slopped drive simular to yours with aero skirts - Or any other members or friends I did have it as a thread but had not sensible answers!! Yeh the drive is annoying, i have to move my mums out in to the road & then move mine into the middle so i dont hit the wall my side!! my drive is not at all Mini Friendly!!! Anyway pics as follows Rest of Aero kit to be finished in near future!! Last edited by mini33 : Apr 28th, 2008 at 11:04 AM. |
