Finally got round to giving Ruby her first good clean, used/did:

Wash and wax
Did black trim
Rain repellent on outside of windows
Anti fog on inside of windows
Waxed wheels
Tyre shine
Then quick Hoover inside.

Only problems now is that I can see even more small scratches and chips from the previous owner now

Think the previous owner had a cat that slept on the bonnet, put it through car washes and drove it into gravel storms so its going to take alot of work to get it sorted

There was once when I had just washed and waxed my car my girlfriends cat jumped on the roof of the car and onto the bonnet and slid down very quickly with its legs each side of it going head first, It was only a kitten at the time.

Luckily no scratches but scared the **** out of me because i thought it had stuck its claws in.

After you waxed it I bet it was really slippery and the cat slid straight of the bonnet

It did, went to land properly, each leg each side of it, sliding down the bonnet head first.

Landed on the ground looking very confused.

stone chips and little scratches are just part of the joy. Dont get hung up about finding a few more each time you wash. Think of it as character, evidence of a full and fruitful existance.
