Online | Thanks for the reply, I missed it first time I read the thread, just noticed it now! ![]() Do you know if it would be possible for me to fit one to my car, or not? Really like the look of it. James. |

Offline | I don't honestly know if it would fit, it does the radio and the GPS so i don't know what the connections are for it. i would think its possible! might be worth doing a quick search on here to see if any body has already done it! ![]() 2002 COOPER / 2003 ONE D / 2003 COOPER S |

Offline | It's possible, but the fin does not have a radio antenna built in. In the days of the shark fin, the radio antenna was built in to one of the rear windows. As a cost-cutting measure by BMW, the GPS antenna and radio antenna were combined, which is why the shark fin no longer exists. My advice: save yourself the time, money, and hassle. ![]() |

Online | Thanks for the response's guys. Think I will just leave it if its going to prove difficult. Back on topic: Cleaned my car today with just ordinary car soap made by 'car plan' and used a chamois leather afterwards, really impressed with the results, I'll maybe post some pics later on. |

Online | I take it that wasnt a good idea then?! It seems to have done a very good job though Much better than when I have just left it to dry, which usually results in hundreds of annoying water marks. ![]() Here are the pics of the end result. Still havent had the time to do it properly with various products. ![]() Close up of the door.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Cheers me old .....put the s-spokes back on for the winter but might sell the Breytons....a better camera would have brought out the glossy look after all that polishing and waxing, but id rather spend the money on my car than a flashy camera..well id rather have both but...![]() ![]() |

![]() The Muffin Man | Spend it on your MINI What polish and wax did you use on her then? (And I dont mean clair lol). I currently use Collonite 476S for the winter temps. Looking into getting an entry level Zymol wax for around £50 for the summer. Would love some of their "Royale Glaze", only problem is I am short of $7000 lol |
