I had a picture in my head from your descriptions, and it works really well. I dig the red interior vs. the silver exterior. Hope to see it out next time.
Nice combination, we'll have to see it in the flesh very soon! Sparkling Silver is a neat colour, but hard to describe. I wasn't too keen on it until I saw one in Crowfoot's "parkade". And I just love that Lounge interior.
What is the little black doodad in the upper left hand of your windscreen? Bluetooth?

MiniVee, that black doodad, is my remote for my semi-permanently installed radar detector (which is on the left side of the mirror). I bought the radar detector 2 weeks after I ordered my MINI, because I know I will need it!! hehe.
I would LOVE to get together with some people and go for a nice ride. Also I would like to get some "business cards" with MINI2 or whatever forum stuff is on them, so I can pass them out. I noticed a cute blond with a new blue/white R56 MCS yesterday, so I need some info to give her. hehe.
So I took off the original air filter tonight and hooked up this high air flow one, WOW what a great difference!!!
You can NOW hear the Blow off Valve (BOV) and it sounds like a Cooper S now!!
What a great upgrade for $27!!!
