Anyone confirm that the UB40 car (No 40) is driven by either a relative or a band member? We think the name is the same as one of the band members but it didn't seem to be in the programme....Just wondered as we were sat discussing it while watching the race and couldn't think of any other meaning for UB40 other than the band!

It was driven by Matt Campbell. And I think that one of the band members was there - he had a lot of people with him.

And I dressed his graphics on saturday evening for him

I think the guitarist, Robin Campbell is his dad, as he was there in the garage with him on Race Day.

Good bunch of lads, and Matt did a fine job as it was his first outing in the S.

I was there om saturday evening when the radicals were racing, drove 140 mile there stayed half an hour picked up a part of Steve (driving the Red/White Cooper s, 1st pic on the parade lap) and then drove home,only went to pic up a part wish i took my camera!
