Like many visual effects it relies on our dependency on our eyes to tell the truth and our inability to figure out when things are not real.

I've said it before elsewhere, but I really wonder what they'd look like to someone who's never seen a scale model before?!

I think it helps that the MINI looks a bit like a Trumton car to start with.Translates better than most. Excellent effort!
