Electric Blue MINI Cooper S after a good wash

Went out Today with our freshly washed 2002 MINI Cooper S to take some photos. Was quite pleased with the session.

Full set on Flickr: 2nd September MINI Cooper S Fun - a photoset on Flickr

I was hoping to get up early and catch the morning sun, missed that, but I think the moody skies actually looked pretty good.

Didn't find any fuel though.

That garage is not far from where I live, wanted to use it for ages but there's often people parked up or vehicles left in annoying places!

I use local knowledge and also Google Earth to find places to go, with varying success.

All images are not edited etc too, I try to just put them up as I capture them, rather than Photoshop tweak etc.

Very nice piccies Paul! Washed, clay bar'd and polished my 2004 EB MCS on Saturday.(Meguiars Gold Class polish), then did the trim and tyres with Meguiars products - result is spectacular. Spent quite a bit of time just standing back and admiring it yesterday, still love this car after more than 3 years. EB has been the nicest colour for me from the start and still is - pity the days of EB are long gone now! Piccies will not do justice - unless done with nice backdrops like the ones you used! Yours just need some white bonnet stripes......

It's kind of cheating though, although it's over five years old it's still a youth in mileage terms, under 17,000 clocked up so far.

Great photos Paul, particularly like the dark skies in the first photo.

Just wish there was a lightning strike coming down onto the antenna sticking up there.
