Offline | proud new owner, cpl q's hi there, really glad to finally be a mini owner. had mine less than a week. drove an mg zr for the last wee while and the difference is unbelievable! ive got a cooper s and never had such a fast exciting driving experience before. when i was looking into buying a mini i came onto a lot of sites similar to this and nearly every mini owner was languishing praise and detailing how much fun these cars were and now i know why. the grin still hasnt some off my face! i have a cpl quick questions. firstly, is it expensive to get a xenon conversion, someone mentioned getting brighter alternative bulbs? also any tips for cleanin the black plastic sideskirts etc. thanks guys, keep up the good work and keep smiling ![]() |

Offline | Already given my top tip for the plastic, but forgot to say welcome to MINI2. So, "Welcome to MINI2". Very tidy looking MINI you have too. |

Offline | Yes it is expensive....and no there is no real tips. Elbow grease, peanut butter or gloss wipes/back to black regular. They will get worn/chipped quite quick if you do any amount of motorway or out of town driving...but they are only 15-20 mins to fit and cost about £25 from BMW for replacements when they get too worn. |
