Photoshop Fun

I have just been playing a bit in photoshop, and thought it would be a good idea for a thread. I have seen some pretty clever stuff done by members, so here we can share and learn

Post shots that have been significantly altered in photoshop (or other program), and also the original if you like

I'll start with some of my attempts

Photos made to look like drawings

These were done with a simple filter in CS2, and playing with the variables

Fake tilt-shift effect (thanks Paul Mullett for the idea & links to tutorials)

I found increasing the saturation really made them look more toy-like

I am pretty new to photoshop, so would love to see other peoples efforts, and learn more techniques

I can post up some fun stuff sometime later. I've been working on various cartoon effects and so on. Just play time as you say.

I use photoshop at work for catalogue images mainly making the picture look good and removing scratches and damage to samples.
Sometimes do some creative stuff and make things that simply dont exist when something is beyond repair.
This is an image I did in response to a request on here and because I was bored.

These took flippin' ages and I'm not happy with the results, yet! Not had a play time since I tried doing them first time. Mostly Photoshop work.

First lot (orig, mix, results (so far))...

I like the first one better

I think the "cartooning" works well with kids
