Mark, what's the reception like with the shark fin aerial? Looking at getting one for mine, but I changed an aerial on my past car, and the reception was rubbish.

Also...ever been pulled with those plates? I'd love to have black & silver, but can't decide if I want to take the risk.

hi there,

the aerial is fine, its factory fit becasue of the nav. As good as you would expect from a car radio. Never have been pulled for the plates, but i know someone who has. £30 fine was what he got. He asked if he *could* have fitted his proper plates back on there and then if they would waive the fine and they said yes.....

Ive attach mine with velcro, and keep the proper ones in the boot (under the carpet) just incase.

That said, i have taken them off at the moment but i will be using them again in the near future

Hmm, tempting to get a pair then - where abouts did you get yours from, as I assume some places can be funny about them?

it was just a local place, they are "show" plates!
