Mini / Mini Works Configurator

Went into my nearest BMW dealer the other day, and was given a Mini Configurator CD and Mini Works Configurator CD - allows you to choose the spec of your Mini, and see the changes on screen etc.

Thought I'd share them, so I've zipped up the files, and uploaded them as torrents - will make it easier / quicker for people to download them.

All you need to do is download the zip file attached to this post, and open the torrent file(s) you require, in a Torrent application - ie, Utorrent

If people have problems downloading the files via torrent, let me know and I'll upload it to my web space - would prefer, for bandwidth reasons, to share it like this though.

I'll keep seeding the files over the weekend, and hopefully enough people would have downloaded them and kindly carried on seeding them.

Thanks for doing this I'm trying to download the Works one and am currently getting just over 1k/s so it thinks it'll take over a day (!) to do the 100mb. If I can get hold of it quicker from you then I can upload it to my web space also and post a link on here.

I take it your the person with 8.7% downloaded? Doh!

I'll see what I can do at my end to speed things up a little - unfortunately, people have downloaded it, but not seeding. Please seed once you've downloaded it!

I've not seen it get that high but it varies from under 1k/s to around 6k/s whenever I look at it. I'll certainly make it available via torrent and web space once I get hold of it.

There you go - a little tweaking, and you should be getting about 20kB/s now.

Thanks Yes, getting about 20-22k/s. Is anyone else downloading at your end as nobody has started to connect to me yet and all my settings look ok. I'm going to put it on my web space when I get it downloaded anyway.

No-one else is downloading it at the moment - think only a couple of people have downloaded each, so far.

...someone is downloading both now, so the speed has dropped to you. You should see them connecting to you to download the Works.zip aswell.

Someone keeps connecting and disconnecting from me - seen them appear twice now but they're not connected at the mo.

I finally got the Works one downloaded - thanks to the 2 or 3 people I was downloading from! Two people are downloading it from me at the mo so I'll leave my laptop running for a while.

I'll have it available from my web space later on once I get it uploaded. Link to follow....
