Smile Cooper S Detailed

Hi,
We took delivery of the car 4 weeks ago and very quickly I was out cleaning the exhaust with Einszett Metal Polish and Megs NXT Metal Polish.

Before

50/50

After

Now onto the detail, it has taken a long time to finish due to the amount of rain we’ve had. Also had poor whether before I started and you can tell by how dirty the car was

Started on the wheels with Autobrites Acid free Brite Wheels, using Swissvax Wheel Brush and EZ Detail Brush. Megs Wheel Brightner was used on the insides.

Foamed with Autobrites Super Snow Foam

The foam did a great job and I moved onto washing. Shampoo Plus with Zymol Sponge. Clayed with Sonus Green and Last Touch, claying was relatively easy. Once that was done the car was washed again.

Next up Megs Deep Crystal Step 1 Paint Cleaner followed by Megs NXT liquid Tech Wax. I had to call it a day after rain stopped play.

A few days later and I was able to get a step closer to finishing.
Washed again. A coat of Chemical Guys EZ Glaze followed by two coats of Chemical Guys Jetseal 109.

I finished a couple of days ago with the last stage, a coat of Dodo Juice Supernatural (sample pot). Dressed trim with Chemical Guys New Look Trim. Autoglym Glass Polish. Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care on tyres.

Afters

Autosol on the exhaust

Wheels had a coat of Chemical Guys Wheel Guard and Jetseal only a few weeks ago

Engine bay had a quick once over with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care

Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care on interior plastics. Fabric Cleaner on seats with Gliptone on the leather

I am very pleased with the final results, Dodo Juice Supernatural has really impressed me. I think the Mini is looking pretty good considering it’s a 2003 car that has done almost 53,000 miles.

Updated: New wheel decals added
Front wheel

Rear wheel

Just bought some Brite wheels from Autobrite-direct was going to be £11.00 from there website deliverd.

I googled it and it came up on the SEAT Cupra forum and he had an offer on for £4.50 Deliverd to the UK mainland so i ranghim and said i seen it on there and saved £6.50.
