Hi all,

I just thought that I would share my latest picture of the D. I took it last weekend, and some members from another forum have had a go at touching it up in PS for me, as I don't have a clue how to use it......

That black and white one looks great James. If I was you I would get a print of that and get it framed - nice

Thanks Ste, that looks fantastic.

The lakes are full of opportune photo locations. If I'm bored I sometimes just go out for a drive armed with the camera.

i prefer the original. The black and white is a good idea, but that sky just looks awful.

Unfortunately the compression killed a lot of the detail, you can hardly see my hand made sticky tape on there.

now if you took the photo in the same location with a sunny / cloudy sky, it would look a whole lot better.

Hi Greenie,

Yeh, I agree the picture would have been nicer with a better sky. Unfortunately it was a case of driving past what I thought was a good location and stopping to snap an impromptu picture before the camera battery died.

The Forestry Commission are clearing a large amount of woodland back home, but unfortunately I'm at Uni in Liverpool and my car lives back up there. Otherwise I would have popped out over the last couple of days to see if the logs were still there....... it would have been perfect weather yesterday!

Sods law, they will have cleared them all by the time I next go home.
