Recommendations Please

Looking for some recommendations please regarding a small handbag sized camera.

Trouble has smashed her Finepix one that has seen her well over the last few years, but they have moved on a lot and would like to get something that would last for a few more years before its of of date.

Thinking of a budget of around the £100 mark, S/D card, as that's what she has already.

SD cards with a Finepix?

It's a two horse race really - a Canon or a Panasonic.

I have a Fuji F10 in my camera stable, knocking on a bit now I know. What I really wanted to say is that it is really good at what it does, and has served me well as a suppliment to my DSLR. Not sure what the current model is but could be worth looking into, apart from the fact it's proably an xD card.

I also had a panasonic super zoom FZ-20. This was big but had a 12x Zoom, very handy. Panasonic have since managed to shoehorn this mega zoom technology into their compact cameras, and I believe they are very good.
