* Stealth Bomber *

Hi all

Been a member on here for quite a while but never really got round to posting. So i thought it was about time i introduced myself and my mini.

When i first bought my mini 4 years ago it had a zeemax csr bodykit on, 19" wheels etc and i continued to do more to it inc 20" foose wheels, porsche brakes, etc and i really enjoyed the mini for a good few years and even managed cover of Fast Car Magazine but the past year or so i've been loosing interest in the bodykitted look and the mini was just sitting in the garage not getting used, so i thought it was time for a change and put my own stamp on the car.

Over the past few months i've had quite a bit of work carried out on the mini so i'll put up a few before and after pics along with what has been done. I was aiming for a stealth look.

Exterior

Aero bodykit fitted
Aero Grille
Cooper s spoiler fitted
Roof ariel removed
Full respray in black including all handles, mirrors, fuel cap, side vents, headlight rings, so basically de-chromed
Silvatec bulbs fitted
Black crystal side repeaters
Rear lights split and sprayed

Interior

I have a full Bentley red leather trimmed interior although i'm going to be changing soon and going for a stripped out look.

Suspension

Eibach Pro Street Coilovers
Strut brace

Wheels/Brakes

17x7 multispoke racing wheels
Ap racing brakes (front) although my wheels wont clear the calipers so will be changing for maybe Wilwwods or jcw)
Ebc rear discs with greenstuff pads

Engine

Gtt tuning intercooler
Pipercross induction kit
Borla Agressive exhaust
Iridium plugs

There is still alot more i'd like to do but need to sort out my brakes first, itching to drive my mini as it has'nt been properly used this year.

anyway heres some pics , hope you like :

Before

Before going to the bodyshop

After

I have to say i am loving te new look, and certainly prefer it to how it was. although there is one main problem, it's so low i can't get the mini off the drive and the coilys still have around 11 threads left until there wound right down :: so i'll be removing the front bumper and getting rid of the lower part underneath as i don't really want to raise it too much more.

anyways here are quite a few pics, hope you like. 8)

I would also like to say a massive thank you to Lohen

Emma and Andre have been very helpful when i have spoke to them, and parts etc have been superb, Fantastic service.

Joe

Wow - that ground clearance looks about on par with an F1 car.

It slooks mint ... but is it me or do the wheels look really small within the arch? and the hight above them look so large considering the hieght the bumpers at? Have you got really small rims on it or is it just an optical illusion...my ET 45 17" TDs fill the arch area top and front to back way more than that but my front lip is higher than that off the ground?!

Cheers for the comments guys, just looking forward to driving it again, ordered some standard cooper s brakes today because my wheels wont go over the ap's and if i use a spacer the wheels will be sitting out of the arch's to much, although i may go for the r56 jcw brakes in a few months.

Hi Richard, cheers, yes i know what you mean, the wheels are 17's, Et 42, main reason it looks alot lower is because of the very low profile tyres, there 185/35/17.

Wheels just dont look to sit inside the arches properly?

Like they are further in than they should be?

Car looks mint though, much better than before!
