Thanks .... love it. Turned out even better than I'd hoped. It's spice Orange, so the colour in the photo is a little Red, so I'm waiting for a sunny day to catch it at its best. Next up is to change to Goodyear Eagle F1-A2's in the New Year.

Spice Orange is such a strange colour for me. I see a Cooper convertible every now and again on my way to work, in Spice Orange, and it always catches my eye.... namely (purely?) cos it's a MINI I guess? While it's undoubtedly a nice car, the colour has never set me on fire.

BUT, I saw it a while ago, in glorious sunshine, and my god - it was like a different car! In the right weather, the colour is absolutely amazing... pictures online, or in the brochure, really do not do it justice. Even in person, unless you get the right light, it's hard to really appreciate how awesome Spice Orange can look. Personally, I'd say it gets a raw deal in this country because our weather is generally so awful!

Don't know if I'd ever spec the colour personally (I did nearly buy a bright orange Focus ST, so I'm definitely not "orangist" ), but it's definitely worth saying that under the right conditions, Spice Orange is beautiful... and the JCW kit evidently sets it off absolutely perfectly.
