First Mini ever: 2008 MCS Clubman

Hi everyone,

I never thought I would be owning a car after selling my previous a couple of years ago. I own 2 Jeep Cherokee, one lifted and one stock. I thought I was happy with that, but then my stock Cherokee kept breaking so I decided to get rid of it and buy something quick, reliable and fun to drive. I always wanted that, but was denying that feeling, .

So here's my new-to-me DD/toy:

2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman

-36,560 miles (58,500 kms)
-hot chocolate color
-6 speed manual
-Heated front seats
-Leather seats
-double sun-visors on the driver's side
-Auto-dimming rear view mirror
-Power everything
-Automatic climate controls
-6 speakers AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX Stereo
-Split rear seats
-double sunroof
-HID lamps
-Front fog lights and one rear
-16 inch wheels with brand new winter tires
-3 year / 36,000 miles warranty (bumper-to-bumper)

Thanks!! I will detail it inside next weekend, so I will have more pictures coming soon. I'll go for a long drive with the family and will snap some pictures too.

I'm also scheduled to have my anti-rust and free buffing/outside detailing done by the dealer this Thursday since they did not have time to do it when I first bought the car.

By next week, I will do an oil change and make sure all my fluids are OK. By then, I should be ready for this winter.

So I still didn't have time to detail the inside, but, I went for a lil' drive today and stopped by a park. I snapped some pictures, while the kids were playing with mommy.

I got the engine oil changed yesterday. Car now has redline 5W40 synthetic. Next should be the transmission oil and any other fluids that are due.

Thanks!

If they ever decide to switch the pedals, then I'll have to learn to drive again, (plus all the people on this part of the world .)
