Re: I second what Thanks for the tips, guys. I've finally squeezed out the majority of the bubbles, but if I get bored this Sunday I'll probably take it up and try to re-apply it. I have one of those water blades, so I'll try that. As it stands right now, it looks great in the rain (when you can't tell the air bubbles from water droplets)! -Ricardo

Thanks Paddy! I'm digging it, although there are some days I miss my plain black roof. Of course the Z6 is still there... along with a few other dirt-eradicating necessities... BTW, your sunroof flag looks awesome! '03 Cooper PS/B with sport, premium packages, xenons, CVT, red leather interior

Hey Ricardo, IMHO I don't think the water blade will work in getting out any bubbles you have trapped. If yours is like mine the "blade" has too much flex to allow this. The 3M blade shown above is not really a bondo knife, as it has the built up area between the two ridges. A bondo knife is a tapered bit of plastic and has no ridges, they can be found in packs of 3 for around $5 at any auto parts place. The squeegee to use is the 3M product shown it will have a more finished edge to it, where the bondo knife will have a rougher finish. If you can't find the good one (3M) and have to use the bondo unit, I would insure you wrap it in an old tee shirt to insure no marks or scratches occur. One other tip, try not to work the graphic too much, as this will cause the material to stretch and create more problems. Good luck ![]()

The 'real' water blade does indeed have too much flex. I have that one as well as a cheap, smaller $9 knockoff. The cheap one does not compare when drying the car but it does a pretty good job of getting the bubbles out of the decal. The 3M thingy is worlds better than anything else though.

2 Fast MINI S Here is my rear window. It is printed on the perforated window film. I can see right through it from the inside. No MINIs in the new 2 Fast 2 Furious movie, but just imagine if there were!
