I posted this a while back on MCO and it wasn't until recently that I forgot to post it for you all overseas. Thought you all would enjoy seeing this. I did a portfolio piece with my mini about a month ago with a rig I had fabricated down in los angeles. The movie was filmed, produced, and edited by me. Enjoy

I am now Planning my own Camera Rig after seeing that

Is it OK if I do some editing of that clip for my own use?

Great piece of work. Nice cut and selection of music.

I once built some automotive camera mounts myself but none as sophisticated as yours. But then again I also tried build a steadycam from scratch. It didn't take me long to realize what a genius Garrett Brown is!

Those shots of California backroads sure makes me homesick. Thanks for sharing!

glad you all liked it. Didn't know mini2 had turned into such a haven for US owners, I used to frequent the board allot about a year ago and it was mainly overseas folks. Restyle-go crazy with the vid, just as long as you don't sell anything that includes the footage. Feel free to distribute at will, but like I said, just give a little credit where credit is do. I like the animated gif's PM me and I'll give you my email address, I'd love to see all the things you come up with it. As for the rig and small gaps, it's kind of scary at times but luckily I had some buddies of mine infront and behind me with walkie talkies watching for traffic. One word of wisdom for anyone else crazy enough to go hauling ass with a camera a few inches from the ground, buy a skylight filter to protect your lens, between hitting grass and such at about 90mph you can destroy a camera very fast, and when you do burnout's you can expect to get a nice layer of grime on your lens from the front tire. For those of you with dail-up the video is about 6mb so it won't be that bad, considering my final cut pro file is about 20 gigs. Hope all is well.
